If you have made an error and deleted some important files and you want to know how to recover deleted files? The answer is just by using file recovery software, which are mainly designed and in such a way that it recovers the deleted files and folders within few minutes.

As you know once the file is deleted, you can get them back from the Recycle Bin. But what about the file that has been emptied from the Recycle Bin or by using combination of two keys “Shift + Delete” or using command prompt? In such situation, the file will be deleted bypassing the Recycle Bin. If the file is deleted from hard drive, those files become invisible to you. But in reality, the file is not really deleted from hard drive, only the index of the file is deleted, the content still remain in the hard drive, which can be recovered if the file is not overwritten by new files. There are few other reasons which might lead to file loss: They are accidental formatting or re-formatting drive or partition, file system corruption, OS crash, power surge, viruses, improper system shutdown etc. Here the deleted files, which have been deleted from above-mentioned reasons, can be recovered with the help of file recovery software.

The first things you need to do when you accidentally delete the file is that the deleted files should not be overwritten. If the files are overwritten, then the file gets deleted or lost and those files are really unavailable from the computer. If the deleted files are important then you should take precaution that the hard drive needs to be removed from the computer and must connect the hard drive as a secondary storage device to the other computer. Once the hard drive is connected to the computer, you need to install the best file recovery software to computer in which you have connected your hard drive to recuperate deleted files.

Before recovering the deleted files you should always make sure that the selected file recovery software allows you to recover deleted files quickly and easily. See to that the file recovery software has demo version before purchasing full version. Always use the demo version of the software and check whether you can recover your deleted files. The file recovery software must also have preview option so that you can view the files before saving. You need to check whether the software supports different file types. If you are pleased with demo results, you can always download the full version of the software and recover lost or deleted files from your hard drive.

The best software for recovering deleted file is Remo Recovery (Windows) – Basic edition as it has advance scanning algorithms that can scan and recover deleted or files from formatted, re-formatted hard drives. It also supports various file types like images, excel, word, power point, flash, etc. You need to just follow some simple easy steps to install the software and once you are done with that, you can very easily get back the deleted files.

A command prompt is a mechanism of interacting with OS or software by typing different commands to perform particular tasks. The technique of instructing a computer to perform particular task is referred as entering a command. User can make use of “Enter” key before submitting the text command. Once the command is entered, the command-line interpreter receives, parses and execute the requested user command. After completion, the command usually returns output to the user in the form of text lines on the command-line interface.

Some of the user prefers to delete the files using DOS command prompt as it bypasses the Recycle Bin. If you have deleted the file using command prompt and you want to know how to recover files deleted using command prompt. The answer is with the use of file recovery software.

Most of the computer users favor to make use of the delete key to delete a file. If you delete the file using delete key it just sends the deleted file into the Recycle Bin. Thus user can recover deleted files using Restore option. The Restore option enables to restore the deleted file to its original location. This is the common method of deleting files which is the most widely used. There are other methods from which the deleted file can bypass the Recycle Bin. One such method of deleting files is by using DOS command prompt. The DOS command prompt helps users to delete the file, by making use of the DEL command. If the user deletes the file using DEL command and later realizes that the file that he/she deleted was really important, he/she would requires file recovery software to recover the deleted file. The file recovery software helps the user to recover files deleted using the DOS command prompt without any difficulty. The file recovery software also lets the user to recover files that have been deleted using other methods like using combination of two keys Shift+ Delete keys, files deleted with the use of cut or move command or files deleted using the simple delete key.

There are various file recovery software available on the internet to recover the deleted files from the above-mentioned scenarios. You must be very apparent in selecting the file recovery software. The software must have capabilities to recover files from various data loss scenarios. The file recovery software should not create any further complications during recovery process and recover files with ease. It must have simple user interface. One such best file recovery software is Remo Recover (Windows) Pro edition. This software has built-in advanced algorithm scanning which recover deleted files from various data loss situations. The software scans for the deleted files using DOS command on the drive/partition. The software has appropriate select option for logical drive from which you can recover files that are deleted using DOS command. You can download the demo version of the file recovery software. Once you are satisfied with demo version, you can make use of save recovery session option which helps you to save your precious time.

Microsoft Outlook is prominent email client that has basic functionalities of email clients like sending, receiving or composing the emails and is capable of handling additional components like contacts, calendars etc. Microsoft email client is a step ahead compared to other email clients as it can maintain components like RSS Feeds, tasks, notes, journal etc efficiently. Outlook 2007 is used by most of the Outlook users because of the advanced features like capable of sending calendar in the form of an email message, program recovery, improved data caching etc. Outlook 2007 allows making a local copy of the shared data over Exchange server on your system. This provides a facility to work with shared data even when you do not have connection with Exchange Server. Junk email filter is one of the security feature enabled for Outlook 2007 users. The undesired email messages are sorted immediately when they are received to Outlook profile and delivers these messages to the Junk email folder directly. Most important feature is program recovery where Outlook 2007 is provided with an ability to recover certain aspects of the previous program when the program closes abruptly. Outlook 2007 allows exporting Outlook files to Portable Document Format or XML Paper Specification format (XPS) format. The above-mentioned formats preserve document formatting and enable file sharing.

Many of the Outlook users prefer using Outlook 2007 because of the security issues and newly added features to it. If you are using previous versions of Outlook, you have to migrate to Outlook 2007 in order to track back Outlook data in upgraded version. You may think how do I migrate outlook 2007 easily without consuming more time. Take backup of the Outlook data before migrating it to upgraded version of Outlook. While taking backup of the Outlook data, all the settings of your mail account may not be included in the backup. Some of the settings like email signatures, junk email lists might be missing. When all the account settings are not included in backup, you cannot use Outlook upgraded version efficiently that results in incomplete up gradation. This may lead losing Outlook data making PST file inaccessible.

Auto archive feature in Outlook help to keep your mailbox clean by moving old messages to a separate file. You can even use this feature to run it every day but let you know before it runs by prompting that it has started running. This facility is also added with Outlook 2007 and you can do it by changing the settings of the auto archive feature.

Remo Outlook Backup and Migrate is migrate tool that restore Outlook attributes like contacts, calendar items, notes, rules, signatures, junk email lists etc of MS Outlook quickly. This utility migrates Outlook data and settings from Windows XP to vista or Windows 7.This software allows creating or associating unlimited number of backup profiles. You can even spilt and save backup archives to match the storage capacity of the respective destination location. You can download demo version and preview the backup and migration process of Outlook profile handled by the tool.

Many email clients are used only for sending emails and transmitting files. MS Outlook is an email client that has additional components like appointments, RSS feeds, journal entries, contacts, calendar, tasks, notes etc along with sending emails with attachments. Other email clients like Google, Yahoo etc store email messages as separate files on the hard drive. But, Outlook does not store attachments as separate files instead it stores these attachments in Personal Folders.pst file. Outlook attachments are stored in individual Outlook items and cannot be accessed directly as other Outlook files. If you want to work with the content inside your attachment, first you have to save that attachment to your system. Outlook allows to preview attached file in read only mode but not to edit the content present inside the attachment without saving it. At this moment, the changes done by the Outlook user are not saved back to the attached file. When an attached file is opened using Outlook, file is copied to a folder that holds temporary files. If an attachment is opened using open option, Outlook copies the file to file system and opens it for editing. The changes done to the file at this stage can be saved back to the open Outlook item. To make these changes permanent in the opened Outlook item, you have to save the file before closing it. If file is not saved, the changes made to the file are not saved to the original Outlook item.

If the PST file is corrupted due to spyware attack, improper exit of Outlook etc, attached files in your email messages cannot be accessed. To recover outlook attachments easily, you have to rely on efficient tool that recovers all your attachments along with all attributes.

The Attachments Options Task pane in Outlook allows you to attach any type of file. There is no certain limit for the number of attachments while sending emails in Outlook. Sometimes, the attached files such as documents, audio, video files in Outlook may be blocked. Outlook blocks those attachments that have viruses that may risk your system. MS Outlook categorizes attachments into three different levels. In the first level, attachments are not accessible in Outlook. InfoBar in Outlook informs that Outlook has blocked that attached message which might be an unsafe attachment. When you receive the above-mentioned message, the attachment stored with the email message cannot be accessed. In Level 2, attachments cannot be directly opened with an Outlook email message. You have to save the attachment in order to open it. Level 3 attachments are unrestricted attachments where you can open them within Outlook directly by double clicking them.

Remo Repair Outlook (PST) is powerful repair tool that repairs corrupt PST files and recovers emails with attributes of Outlook like contacts, calendars, tasks etc., along with attachments created on various versions of outlook like 2000, 2003, 2007 and 2010. This utility is capable of repairing highly encrypted PST files. Preview recovered Outlook data, when you download demo version of the software.

Memory card, which is also known as Flash card, is a data storage device used for storing digital information. PC cards (PCMCIA) were the first commercial memory card that was released in the 1990’s. These cards are now used in industrial applications to connect I/O devices like modems. The different types of memory cards available are SD, mini SD, XD and MMC cards. Memory cards are generally used in mobile phones, laptops, MP3 players, digital cameras, etc. It is a non-volatile storage device, which means that it can retain stored data even without constant power supply. It is mainly used to store audio, video, picture and document files. However, memory cards are easily prone to corruption due to many reasons like virus attack, OS crash, etc. In order to recover deleted files from memory card, you have to use powerful recovery software.

The various reasons for the data loss are mentioned below:

Accidental deletion: If the user accidentally deletes the files by using Shift + Delete combination, data gets erased.

Virus attack: If you hard drive is affected by virus, you must remove it as soon as possible. Otherwise it may cause serious damage to your system. It can corrupt your files and make them inaccessible. You can remove the virus by using a good anti virus software or by formatting your hard drive, which results in data deletion.

Formatting: If the user accidentally formats memory card, data that is present in the memory card gets erased permanently.

OS crash: Operating system gets crashed due to improper shutdown and fluctuation in power which may result in data loss in your system.

There are some precautions you need to take in order to avoid data loss. Some of them are listed below:

Maintain a regular back up of your files.

Shutdown your system after closing all the programs and applications.

Install a quality anti virus and keep updating it regularly.

Do not remove memory card abruptly when it is in use.

If you tend to lose data even after taking precautions, you need to use data recovery software in order to recover your files. Remo Recover (Windows) – Media Edition is an advanced and effective software to recover your deleted or lost files from memory card. With the help of this software you can also recover lost or deleted data from hard drives, USB drives, flash memory cards and fire ware drives. You can download and install demo version of the software which is freely available in the internet. After installing you can check for the recovery results. You can use “Preview” option to preview the recovered files before saving them. There is an option available called “save recovery session” where you can save your scanned information for future use. If you are satisfied with the demo version you can buy licensed version of the software. After activation, you can use “open recovery session” option to open the scanned information.

Each and every operating system will have its own file system that is used to store and fetch data from the storage devices. Microsoft Windows uses FAT and NTFS file system for storing and retrieving data from the hard drives and other storage mediums. FAT is also called as File
Allocation Table, which is the legacy file system, used mainly in Windows XP and other legacy Windows operating systems. Whereas NTFS, which is called New Technology File System is used is mainly used in Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. However, it is possible to convert the file system from FAT to NTFS by formatting the partition or drive and converting or also by using certain commands in the command prompt.

Now-a-days, more and more users opt for NTFS partitions as it is more stable and secure as compared to FAT file system and also the data storage and retrieval process in NTFS file system is much more higher and faster as compared to FAT file system. No matter what the file system be, all the data present in these partitions or drives are prone to deletion or loss due to several factors. Some of the most commonly known scenarios where data is deleted or lost or even the partitions get lost are mentioned below:

Accidental deletion: While deleting some unwanted documents, you may accidentally delete a file or document, which would be of utmost importance to you resulting in loss of data. You may even accidentally empty the recycle bin

Windows disk management utility: Microsoft Windows has a utility called Windows disk management utility, that can be used to create, delete, format or re-format the partitions. Sometimes, due to improper knowledge among users, the partitions or drives may be accidentally deleted or removed resulting in deletion of drives or partitions which in turn causes loss of precious data

Reinstalling OS: While reinstalling Windows operating systems, sometimes, you may format a different partition or even format all the partitions resulting in deletion of important data from your computer

All the above reasons cause data to be deleted either by formatting the partitions or by deleting the partitions. No matter what the reasons for data deletion be, one of the most easiest ways to recover lost ntfs partition data is by using deleted partition recovery software. One such software is Remo Recover (Windows) – Pro edition. You can also download the free trial version of the software and check for the recovery results. This software has simple systematic instructions that can easily recover deleted or lost data from formatted or deleted FAT or NTFS partitions from any severe data loss scenarios.

Photos captured using digital cameras are usually stored on flash drives like memory cards before they are transferred onto a hard drive either for permanent storage, editing or even for sharing over the network. However, loss, deletion or corruption of photos can occur at any stage or in any device but there is a difference in each scenario. Some people are generally unclear about the three different terms that is deleted, lost and corrupted. Let us try and look at how each of these terms differs from each other with respect to data loss and in which scenarios recovery of photos is possible.

Firstly deletion of photos means that the photo is deleted with the knowledge of the user, i.e. the user accidentally deleted a file either on his hard drive or his memory card which bypassed the Recycle Bin. In such cases you can get back deleted photos easily as the location of the deleted photo is known to you and recovery is possible as the photo has not been permanently deleted. In case of loss of photo, the photo is lost i.e. the user has no idea about where the file has gone and in such scenarios too recovery is possible as lots of Digital Photo Recovery Software let the user to perform a raw search to locate the file.

However, when it comes to corruption of photos, the scenario is completely different. When a photo gets corrupted, it is not lost as a whole but only a part of the file goes missing or a part of the file is damaged. In such an instance a photo recovery software will not be of much, as the photo needs to be repaired and not recovered. Photo repairing software are hard to find and the success rate of these tools will also be very less.
